Journal of Adaptive Education Practice and Transformation (JADEPT)

The Journal of Adaptive Education Practice and Transformation (JADEPT) welcomes high-quality research articles and review/conceptual papers in the field of adaptive education, innovative educational practices, and educational transformation.

Manuscript Preparation

Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear, coherent, and academic English. Authors are strongly encouraged to use professional language editing services if necessary to ensure clarity and grammatical accuracy. 

Formatting

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt
  • Line spacing: 1
  • Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)
  • Page numbers: bottom center

Article Structure

Manuscripts must follow the structure below:

Title

The title must be concise, specific, and informative, with a maximum of 20 words.

Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

Provide full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), country, and ORCID ID (recommended).

Abstract

The abstract must be written in English, 150–250 words, in a single paragraph. It should clearly include: background, objectives, methods, results, and implications. The abstract must not contain citations, references, tables, figures, or unnecessary abbreviations.

Keywords

Provide 3–5 keywords in English, separated by semicolons (;). Keywords should reflect the core concepts, variables, methods, or theoretical framework of the study.

Introduction

The introduction must present the research background, current issues, gap analysis, novelty statement, and research objectives. It should synthesize relevant literature (not merely describe it) and demonstrate the contribution of the study.

Literature Review / Theoretical Framework (if applicable)

This section elaborates on key theories and previous research that underpin the study.

Methods

The Methods section must describe the research design, participants/sample, instruments, data collection procedures, and data analysis techniques. For research involving human participants, ethical approval and informed consent must be stated where applicable.

Results

Present findings objectively and systematically in alignment with the research questions or hypotheses. Tables and figures should be used when necessary and must not duplicate information already described in the text.

Discussion

Interpret findings critically by linking them with existing theories and previous research. Explain the significance, implications, and contributions of the findings. Highlight similarities, differences, and unexpected results where relevant. 

Conclusion

Summarize key findings in relation to the research objectives. Clearly state theoretical and practical contributions, limitations of the study, and recommendations for future research. Do not introduce new data or citations. 

Acknowledgements (Optional)

May include funding information or institutional support.

References

All references must follow APA Style (7th Edition).

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
  • Table titles must be placed above the table.
  • Figure captions must be placed below the figure.
  • Images must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Sources must be cited if adapted from other works.

Citation and References

JADEPT uses APA Style (7th Edition) for in-text citations and reference lists.

Authors are strongly encouraged to:

  • Cite recent sources (preferably within the last 5–10 years).
  • Use reputable international journals, especially those indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.

Minimum number of references:

  • Research articles: at least 30 references
  • Review articles: at least 40 references

Publication Ethics

JADEPT upholds strict publication ethics standards. Manuscripts must be original, not under review elsewhere, and free from plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. All authors must significantly contribute to the research and approve the final manuscript. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Research involving human participants must comply with ethical standards and institutional approval. The journal reserves the right to reject or retract manuscripts that violate ethical standards.

Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must ensure that the manuscript complies fully with the journal template before submission. Non-compliant manuscripts may be returned without review.
