Focus and Scope

Journal of Pedagogical and Community Engagement (JPEACE) publishes scholarly articles on community service and engagement activities, including but not limited to the following areas:

  1. Pedagogical-based community service and educational outreach

  2. Community empowerment through education and training programs

  3. Service-learning and experiential learning initiatives

  4. Literacy, numeracy, and character education in community settings

  5. Teacher and educator involvement in community development

  6. Inclusive and participatory community education

  7. Digital literacy, educational technology, and community innovation

  8. Community-based curriculum implementation

  9. Educational responses to social, cultural, and local wisdom contexts

  10. Sustainable community development and lifelong learning
