About the Journal

Nafisa Journal of Islamic Education and Learning is an open-access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications in fields related to Islamic education and the teaching of Islamic religious education in schools and madrasahs. The journal is published by the Nafisa Foundation / Nafisa Fathul Ansori Foundation as a platform for scholarly dissemination and academic dialogue in the field of Islamic education.

This journal aims to provide a continuous forum for discussion on relevant issues within its focus and scope, which include: Islamic Studies and Islamic education starting from early childhood education, elementary school, secondary school, non-formal school to university. Nafisa Journal of Islamic Education and Learning uses Mendeley as a reference management tool and applies Plagiarism Checker and Turnitin for plagiarism screening. The journal that all published articles receive unique DOI numbers. The journal is supported by an Editorial Advisory Board consisting of scholars from various countries. Every submitted manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two members of the Editorial Advisory Board. Additional reviewers may be involved when necessary. Final publication decisions are made based on reviewers’ evaluation reports.

The article review process takes approximately six months. Authors bear responsibility for any errors contained in their published articles. Nafisa Journal of Islamic Education and Learning publishes two issues per year, released in June (first issue) and December (second issue).
